Miraflores, garden of an artist-scientist
A presentation by Anne Elise Urrutia, author of “Miraflores, San Antonio’s Mexican Garden of Memory” to the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, on the multi-faceted garden of Dr. Aureliano Urrutia. Urrutia was a prominent physician from Mexico City, who built Miraflores garden after immigrating to San Antonio from Mexico in 1914. Free and open to the public.
